McFarland, Barb
Barbara McFarland is a contemporary and very creative Michigan quiltmaker. Her quilts are decorative and wall hung. They show her control of the elements of color and design, and her techniques are innovative. She uses layering, fusing, and free-ranging quilting stitches for designs that are always unique and intriguing. She makes her home in Hartland, Michigan and it is always a pleasure when she comes north with her season of quilts.
