These earring s are made from larger stones with generous 1/4" pearl accents. Leland Blue Stone is a beautiful by-product of the old Leland Ironworks which operated from the late 1880s through about 1918. It ranges in colors from purplish indigo to sky blue, turquoise and olive green. Kevin Gauthier of Traverse City, MI makes the most of its natural beauty. He has been collecting, polishing, cutting and making gorgeous jewelry out of Michigan stones since he was a boy. Earrings are just under 2" in length. They are available as a sterling silver post earring instead of on the sterling wire as shown.
